Discover Rideau Lakes Early Learning Centre

We have proudly been serving growing families in the

Township of Rideau Lakes and surrounding areas for over 40 years.

The management, educators and board members have a mandate to provide an environment that allows every child to thrive in their own time, by embracing the understanding that each child has unique needs and interests.  We provide the tools and curriculum needed for your child to gain a sense of the world around them, and to explore their self-awareness.

Preschool children are taught basic skills needed to successfully transition from daycare to kindergarten.  Some of these skills include learning to put their coats and boots on and off, recognizing letters and numbers, writing their own name, mastering the art of staying still and listening to the teacher.

Play time includes sensory play, water play, story time, and STEM lessons using tools such as  building blocks and magna tiles.  We have fenced-in outdoor space at both locations and your children are given ample playtime outdoors, weather permitting.​

At the Rideau Lakes Early Learning Centre, we believe that early learning and development happens within the context of relationships between children's families, educators, and their environment.

It is our mission to ensure that when children grow out of the Rideau Lakes Early Learning Centre, they are fully prepared for the next stage in their young lives.​
